Seoul International Pride Film Festival (SIPFF)
About This Event
The Seoul International Pride Film Festival (SIPFF) is South Korea's largest LGBTQ+ film festival. It was founded in 2011 and is held every November. It is a founding member of the Asia Pacific Queer Film Festival Alliance and hosted the alliance's meeting in 2025.
The 15th edition ran 6 to 12 November 2025 at CGV Piccadilly 1958 in Jongno, with 114 films from 37 countries. Guests at the opening included Hong Seok-cheon, one of the first Korean celebrities to come out. The programme mixes Korean features and shorts with international titles, and the 2025 edition had a special focus on the queer production company Matchbox.
CGV Piccadilly 1958 is by Jongno 3-ga station, a short walk from the gay bars around Nakwon-dong and Ikseon-dong, so a screening is easy to combine with a night out.
