Super helpful staff easy access from public transport clean and spacious rooms

We went to Palmyrah restaurant for dinner and bought 10 milk hoppers, 5 egg hoppers, a prawn curry, prawn kottu and 3 ginger beers and the bill added upto more than Rs. 17,000. I believe that the pricing is really unfair. The prawn curry was Rs.4000 with the tax which had about 7 medium sizes prawns. Even the prawn kottu was the same. You can actually have good chinese seafood meals with better portions at a 4 or 5 star hotel restaurant for that price. No value for money at all at Palmyrah restaurant.

I recently visited Renuka City Hotel in Colombo for a dinner with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a quality meal together. The food was excellent, with great taste and good variety, and everything we tried was well-prepared. The service was courteous and attentive, with staff who were friendly and always ready to help. The hotel’s convenient location is an added advantage, making it easy to visit without any hassle. Overall, it was a very enjoyable family dinner, and I would definitely recommend it to others!

I booked the wrong date but staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating! Perfect location for my first night in Colombo as it was close to the airport, rooms were clean and comfortable and room service was fast and efficient!
