Manho Hotel

I was quite satisfied with my stay and would like to return to try different room types. The environment was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. The room had Netflix, HBO, Disney, etc. available. Our room had a massage chair, which was incredibly relaxing. The massage chair was a high-end OSIM, and the Dyson hairdryer dried my hair quickly. Even the bathroom floor had underfloor heating, so my feet weren't cold at all. The hot water in the shower came out instantly – almost like a five-star hotel. This hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, but they have a partnership that reimburses parking fees. You can get reimbursed for parking in designated parking spaces. Actually, there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. The front desk staff were also very friendly, which I really appreciated ❤️. Breakfast wasn't included, but there was a water dispenser in the room, and trash cans on each floor's stairwell to prevent food smells from lingering in the room. The only downside was that the soundproofing wasn't great; you couldn't hear outside noises very well, but it wasn't a big problem for me when I was out walking back to the hotel.

I would just like to feedback about the service of the staff. I believe that being in a customer orientated service industry, training of staff should be a top priority. As paying customers, we should be able to ask questions or seek clarifications. It’s quite disappointing when our questions are met with lacklustre answers or worse, no replies at all. After reading other feedback, it seems your staff truly requires much more training on customer service. I hope management can be more reflective on your service standards to be able to get return customers. What a truly disappointing first impression!

The room's facilities were simple, modern, and comfortable, with bright lighting and a clean, tidy environment. It included a Dyson hairdryer and excellent toiletries, making it a decent accommodation in a good location. (However, the pillowcases and duvet covers were clean, but the pillowcases and duvet inserts smelled like they hadn't been washed in a long time, making it difficult to relax and feel comfortable sleeping on an unclean bed, which was a bit of a shame.)

This boutique hotel is the kind you'll fall in love with after just one stay! The owner's attention to detail and taste are evident in every detail. You change into indoor slippers at the entrance, making you feel right at home. The environment is clean and comfortable, and the staff at the front desk are friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious, and I especially loved the room's room size. The amenities are all high-quality, including a Dyson hairdryer, BYREDO toiletries, and even a private water dispenser. You really wouldn't want to check out! It's within walking distance of the Second Market, making it very convenient for finding food. There are plenty of bus stops nearby, and the location is excellent. It's a truly impeccable stay experience! 💕

The staff greeted us like family after a long day. The interior was as comfortable and cozy as home, with meticulous attention to detail in everything from preparation to decor.

Although the room was on the second floor, we couldn't hear any street noise at all! Most importantly, their bed was incredibly comfortable; we didn't want to stay in it any longer before checking out. The most amazing thing was the small water dispenser in the room – absolutely fantastic! Even many five-star hotels don't have this feature. The price was a bit high, but honestly, I would definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Taichung.

Stepping into the hotel felt incredibly relaxing, comfortable, and upscale. The lobby even had cypress essential oil added to the alcohol! The rooms were impeccably clean, and the water dispenser was excellent. You could feel the owner's attention to detail. I really wanted to love this hotel as the decor and rooms are really well done. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, the bed is very comfy and the bathroom is big with a great shower. However, we hardly managed to get any sleep due to noise. We were in room 703 (top floor) and had a really poor night sleep due to constant noise that sounded similar to being on a plane / a washing machine on spin cycle. It was constant throughout our stay and was still there even if you turned everything off. We couldn't quite work out what it was, but we think it might be some form of pump inside the walls or the property external air conditioning on the roof - we have a audio recording of the noise. We couldn't hear it in the corridor or in the bathroom particularly. It feels like the room needs to be soundproofed a lot better (which other reviews also mention). It would be interesting to know if the other rooms have the same issue.
