Secret paradise
General tidiness was below average - the duvet did not have a cover on it the first night that I had booked and there were also stains on it. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I approached them. On two of the days that I stayed, the water stopped running for several hours. I went out every day so I'm unsure exactly for how long the problem persisted on each occasion. Additionally, the electricity stopped working on one of the days also. Overall I enjoyed my stay, but it felt very much as though the resort was more of a dream of the owner and much less a reality for the guests - however, I was able to enjoy sleeping in a comfortable bed, wake up to a view of the ocean in a room which which protected me from the weather each night and gave me a place to safely store my belongings while I explored the island during the day.
It's very, very dirty. They don't change the sheets after people, everything is stained, and the towels smell bad, too. The windows and mirrors are dirty. The rooms aren't ready for occupancy. The grounds are also run-down and in vain. There's no pool. I don't know why they even put a photo of it. We paid in advance and arrived very tired at 4:00 PM from the ferry, and the room was dirty; they hadn't cleaned it after the previous tenants. We waited two hours, then checked in. The sheets were so dirty that others had slept on them, and the toilet was dirty. We asked for a change and cleaning. They changed the sheets, but they don't know how to clean; they just mopped the floor in the middle of the room and left. The woman was very nice, but clearly agitated, and she felt awkward. We wrote to the owner asking for a refund, but they refused. Be careful before booking in advance. They don't refund even if they can't accommodate you. But basically, if you're blind and have no sense of smell and only see the view into the distance, then The view is good 👍 I washed the window myself, but it won't wash off, so I could at least take a couple of photos.
If you don't mind walking up a few steps to your room, this accommodation is absolutely fantastic.
Although they should improve the cleaning details (the bed sheets were stained with what looked like coffee), the view from the cabin is quite nice.
The bed linens had bloodstains, strangers' hair, and smelled unpleasant. The bed linens hadn't been changed since the last 3-4 guests. The TV was also broken. The shower barely had any water coming out. The drinking glasses had lipstick stains. This hotel is disgusting, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
