Great experience overall but could be improved given its 2 Michelin stars. I love the overall experience on how they take you to a journey around India. The spice level for me was perfect. The main dish (chicken) was pretty disappointing. Nothing special about it. I like how they allow you to choose flavors but ended up having a lot of masala based flavors, which was nice at the start but felt one dimensional halfway through. Some of the sauces seemed reused. The snow crab dish was fantastic. Starters were great too. I love the langoustine! Also nitpick for this is that the dishes can be arranged better. When served, some of it fell off or needed to be rearranged at my table. Wouldn’t expect this from 2 stars. Otherwise, service is great. Ayanna is nice and friendly.
Appreciate the selection of ingredients and overall balance of the dishes. Head up to the professionalism when handling my sudden heavy alcohol reactions. Yet, the portion of main ingredient in dishes are relatively disappointing with the idea of dipping and trying different sauces, especially for the langoustine and tooth fish. While the freshness of king crab are overwhelmed by the taste of the other ingredients, I am a bit doubtful to the heaviness of the sweets at the end. Personally, I would anticipate something fresh mint or fruity espuma to wash off the weight of the main dishes. Though, it is a great try to decompose Indian street foods and cushions by places and the stories behind.
First of all, I have to say that the food and presentation were very well executed. The flavors were well-balanced and delicious, allowing the quality of the ingredients to really shine through. However, I was a little disappointed that there was still an additional charge to have lamb as the main course. That being said, aside from the food and presentation, I would especially like to compliment the service team for their professionalism. In particular, Jay gave us excellent wine recommendations that suited our preferences perfectly. Mon and Champion, as well as another staff member whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask, also provided truly impressive service. What stood out the most was how attentive and perceptive the team was. They were very good at reading their guests’ body language and knowing when to approach and when to give us space, which made the service feel effortless, thoughtful, and genuinely impressive.
2 Michelin stars but really is closer to 3. I had a phenomenal experience at INDDEE. Every dish tasted amazing and the thought and love that had gone into each plate was very obvious. I enjoyed a 4-glass wine pairing which matched perfectly with the food. What stood out equally as much as the food was the presentation and explanation of this young chef pictured in my review. She was sensationally knowledgable and passionate about the food being presented and I enjoyed recounting some of my own food experiences in India with her, which led to a few questions I had about the dishes which she answered brilliantly and really how good she was at her job put the cherry on the cake for my experience overall.
Best dining experience ever. Request for a seat at the chef's table.
