What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the friendly staff, good location near the BTS station, and the included breakfast and sauna access, with some finding the rooms cozy and clean. However, a significant and recurring complaint is the presence of bed bugs, with multiple guests reporting infestations, and some also mention issues with small room sizes, cold showers, and the presence of pests like rats.

About this place Blu Cabin Ari Stylish Gay Poshtel

Blu Cabin Ari Stylish Gay Poshtel is a welcoming accommodation option located in the Ari area of Bangkok, Thailand. As a gay poshtel—a hybrid between a hostel and boutique hotel—it caters specifically to LGBTQ+ travelers seeking a social yet comfortable stay in Thailand's vibrant capital. The venue combines affordable pricing with stylish design and a queer-affirming atmosphere, making it an appealing choice for solo travelers, groups of friends, and couples. The Ari neighborhood is known for its laid-back local vibe, trendy cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops, offering a more residential feel compared to some of Bangkok's busier tourist districts. Staying in this area gives visitors a chance to experience a more authentic slice of Bangkok life while still having convenient access to the city's attractions. The poshtel format typically means you'll find a mix of private rooms and shared dormitory options, with common areas designed to encourage interaction and socializing among guests. For practical planning, the venue is located at 32 Soi Ari 4 in the Phaya Thai district. You can find more information and make bookings through their website. Whether you're visiting Bangkok for the first time or returning to explore new areas, this venue offers an LGBTQ+-friendly base from which to enjoy everything the city has to offer.

We’re definitely coming back! Superb customer service, great value and sumptuous breakfast. I want to thank Phi (our receptionist/attendant) for his assistance. We enjoyed our stay.

Terrible. I'm going to the Consumer Protection Board tomorrow to handle this.

I stayed at blue cabin in April 2026. It was such a surprising expirience. My room with Poolview was clean and realy big with a confortable bed and a big showerroom. One of the best gay sauna is directly inhouse and included by booking a room at blue cabin. Ecery day you can watch hot shows with young models and have fun with mostly local attractiv gay men even with the models too. I could`nt believe. Many very hot masseurs are at the bar area to choose for a relaxing and hot time too. If you stay at a room in blue cabin you pay only 2000 bath for that very nice expirience. All in all i can say this place is a must for every gay visitor in Bangkog. I will come back for shure

BED BUGS 🐞 After 1 year of hostels, including 5 months in india - last night was my worst experience in all of the places I’ve been to. Arrived back at 2 a.m, got into bed after a nice shower, and started to scratch. I turned on the light and there were 5 visible bed bugs on the pillow alone, including 3 HUGE ONES, and then i discovered a few more hidden in the pillow cover stitches. They do give you that spray in the room - without telling you a word about the bed bugs. After one hour of trying to find a different place to sleep and then trying to do my best with spray and kill all of them. Went to sleep, woke up from bed bites again at 5 a.m Gave up sleeping at 6:30 I constantly imagine there are still bed bugs on me. Berk Update: its been three days and i am still covered in small red bites in many places. DONT STAY THERE!!!!

The sauna and service were 10/10, but the hostel had bed bugs in the shared rooms. Disgusting!!!
