Despite having a confirmed reservation made months in advance, we were told upon arrival that the hotel was fully booked. The owner blamed booking.com and claimed he never received the reservation. We showed proof of our communication through booking.com, including messages about our arrival time, but this was dismissed with the explanation that anyone could have written those messages. The stay was already fully paid. We asked for a short written confirmation of the double booking to help with the refund process, but this was refused multiple times. Unfortunately, there was no apology and no effort to resolve the situation. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this property.

Na Tanao1969 has a beautifully designed space, and the rooms were very clean. They even cleaned and tidied up our room and added water for our two-night stay, which was very thoughtful. A 1000 yuan deposit is required upon check-in. The young man who served us was incredibly warm and friendly, always ready to help with any problems or needs. We were truly grateful! 😊 If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that the soundproofing isn't perfect, but it wasn't enough to affect our sleep; also, the water pressure was a bit low. Otherwise, everything was great!

We had the best time at Na Tanao staying in the beautiful Jitta room. The entire “hometel” is gorgeous, and peaceful to come home to after exploring the busy city. The manager, Lynn, made us feel so welcome and gave great recs in addition to the wonderful local shops, street food, cafes, and restaurants that the owner curated for his favorite recs nearby. It made us feel like we were getting a local experience! We would have missed out on some gems without their recs. We loved the neighborhood. There is a beautiful rooftop, peaceful music, gorgeous rooms, and a family-owned feeling that made our stay our favorite hotel/“hometel” experience ever. Thank you so much!

Absolutely beautiful stay at Na Tanao. Friendly owner and staff, always very accommodating and helpful. Comfortable and aesthetic room, it's quiet and very clean. The location is so close to everything, which is a massive point.

When traveling alone, I still want to find a place to stay for a night. The whole space feels so comfortable, quiet, and stable—just the kind of atmosphere I love. The reception staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. At first, I thought there wasn't an elevator and I'd have to carry my luggage myself. 😆 But that worry was for nothing (lol). The bed was just the right firmness, the AC was strong, the water was hot, and the shower was incredibly comfortable. While the soundproofing isn't perfect, I slept very well. (If you're sensitive to sound, this might be something to keep in mind. 😌)

Really enjoyed our stay here. We were here for a few nights and the hotel was very spacious and well located within Chinatown. Would highly recommend!

Very nice hotel with great staff, very welcoming and considerate. The hotel is charming, always great music in the lobby, only few rooms so it's a peacefull hotel. We had the Jitta room, very cosy with view on the street. Great rooftop to take a breakfast from the morning market just around, or take a drink at sunset. Great coffee shop under the hotel, with great hifi system ! The neighborhood is nice, scooter rental two street further, lots of street food and the best mango sticky rice in the same street ! We will be happy to come back here next time in Bangkok and thank's again 🙏 Camille and Leopold

One of a kind stay

Na Tanao 1969 completely exceeded my expectations—this place is such a hidden gem in Bangkok. From the moment we arrived, even though it was late at night, Linn was there to welcome us personally with the warmest smile. He was always around during our stay, so kind and attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure we felt comfortable and cared for. It honestly felt like we were staying in someone’s beautifully designed home, but with all the privacy and comforts of a boutique luxury hotel. Our room was incredible—spacious, quiet, and it felt like we had the entire level to ourselves. The hotel itself is stunning, with gorgeous modern architecture that still pays tribute to Thai culture. I loved how intimate the space felt with only four rooms—it made our experience feel really special and peaceful. There were also so many thoughtful touches, like the unique little elevator and the secure front entrance with a great locking system, which made us feel completely safe. The location couldn’t be better either—it’s tucked away just enough to feel calm and private, but still close to incredible food, including some Michelin-rated restaurants just a short walk away. If you’re looking for something different than the typical hotel experience, I absolutely recommend staying here. It was such a beautiful blend of modern comfort, Thai charm, and genuine hospitality. Linn made our stay feel personal and memorable in a way that’s hard to find—I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
