Gay Village is Rome's annual summer LGBTQ+ festival, held at Parco del Ninfeo in the EUR district (Via delle Tre Fontane, accessible from Metro B Laurentina) each Friday and Saturday evening from mid-June through late September. Part of the Estate Romana programme, the Village offers club nights, live concerts, film screenings, theatre and cultural events across multiple outdoor stages. Over 200,000 visitors attend across the season, making it one of Italy's largest LGBTQ+ events by cumulative attendance. The EUR setting — Mussolini's rationalist planned district, now a leafy business suburb — provides an incongruous but memorable backdrop for Rome's summer queer party.
