Hotel Bokan
Guests often praise the staff for being nice, helpful, and smiling, with one reviewer mentioning a very warm welcome. However, several guests found the older Gasthof building to be worn, hot, and in need of renovation, with one noting the rooms were old and dirty.

Note that there is "Bokan Exclusiv" which is the bigger and newer building, and "Bokan Gasthof" which is the older building, and they have a small road between them. I was one week in the "Gasthof" part, as an attache to a sport group, which stayed in the "Exclusiv". Breakfasts are served in the "Exclusiv", while other meals are served in the "Gasthof". The "Exclusive" is modern, wide and clean. The "Gasthof" is where I stayed, my room was a single bed, really basic, but in good shape. Bathroom and toilet was in excellent condition, which is sometimes rare in old style hotels. Shower was relatively large for the small room and had enough height. Additional information - Room was cleaned daily. Excellent price. Vast parking for the Hotel guests. Extensive hours for breakfast - 06:00 to 10:00. And it is 100% ready at 06:00. (we left Sunday at 05:00 - they made breakfast ready before 04:40) In pictures: Breakfast dining room and breakfast served (for all) in the "Exclusiv" (pictures do not in include eggs and omletes chafing dish, rice and potatoes chafing dish). Single room in the "Gasthof", upon leaving.
I stayed at a guesthouse, not a hotel; the place was worn, the waiters were only moderately polite, and the drinks and food were okay.
When I asked why the rooms were so hot, 35 degrees in the inn in summer, I received the answer: "What would you like?" (They didn't even offer a fan.) At the same time, the rooms in the inn are very old and dirty and need a complete renovation.
