Salzburg Pride 2026

Salzburg Pride, in July 2026, is the city's annual LGBTQ+ march and festival. It's set against the Baroque Altstadt, the Hohensalzburg fortress, and the Alps.

The timing, during the Salzburg Festival, means the city's already full of international visitors. That creates a cosmopolitan, celebratory atmosphere, on top of the local community.

The march winds through Salzburg's UNESCO World Heritage Old Town—a backdrop you won't find anywhere else. Since Austria’s marriage equality in 2019, Salzburg Pride feels more celebratory, though it still advocates.

Book hotels early. July is Festival season, and the city sells out.
