Salzburg Pride

Salzburg Pride is a ten-day Pride festival run by HOSI Salzburg, the city's gay and lesbian association, across late August and early September.

The programme spreads across venues such as ARGEkultur and Toihaus, with talks, film, readings and parties. The centrepiece is the Pride parade on the final Saturday, which HOSI frames as a political demonstration with music, starting at the Hauptbahnhof and ending with a rally and stage programme in the centre. The closing party is usually at ARGEkultur, and volunteers do a clean-up the next morning.

The 2025 festival ran 29 August to 7 September with the parade on 6 September under the motto "Wir sind nicht alle – aber wir sind viele!". Organizers said 4,000 to 5,000 people had marched in each of the two previous years; a community report put 2025 at around 8,000, but we found no official count. The 2026 festival ran 28 August to 6 September, with the parade on 5 September. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
