⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best vacation we've ever had! We truly had one of the best vacations we've ever experienced as a couple. From the very beginning, we felt incredibly comfortable and welcome. Our room was beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained. We especially want to commend the entire staff: everyone was exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful. You really got the feeling that they genuinely cared about ensuring their guests had a wonderful stay. Minor issues in our room were immediately noted and resolved within minutes – you don't experience such excellent service everywhere! An absolute highlight for us was the pool with its breathtaking view directly onto the mountains. This view was simply picture-perfect and made every moment there special. 😍 We were also thrilled with the spa area. Everything was very well-maintained, cozy, and inviting. We found the waterbeds in the spa particularly exceptional – they were perfect for switching off and simply enjoying the peace and quiet. Pure relaxation! We felt completely at ease throughout our entire stay and would have loved to stay even longer. We're definitely coming back! ❤️ Thank you so much to the entire team for this wonderful time and all the amazing memories we've made. Highly recommended! 🏔️❤️

We're so sad to be going home today. Our stay at this hotel was simply wonderful, and we felt completely at ease from the first minute to the last. We were particularly impressed with the breakfast and the afternoon snack. Breakfast truly offers everything you could wish for – from a fantastic selection to eggs cooked fresh to your liking. It's simply perfect for a relaxed start to the day. The afternoon snack is also incredibly delicious and anything but a light meal: there's pasta and sausage salad, a selection of cheeses and cold cuts with rolls, plus freshly made Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake), strudel, and various cakes. The Kaiserschmarrn was an absolute highlight for us! We were also completely thrilled with the spa area. The pool and sauna area is very modern, high-quality, and beautifully designed. We especially loved the natural pond, where you can relax wonderfully and simply unwind. We found the hotel's location perfect for us. The slightly elevated location offers a fantastic view of the valley, while still allowing easy access to the village. The view alone makes the stay truly special. Overall, it was a perfect stay for us. Delicious food, a beautiful spa area, a stunning location, and an atmosphere that makes you feel completely at ease. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be back! Thank you for the wonderful time – see you again soon!

Wonderful hotel with its own alpine lake and fantastic spa area. Great mountain views and a superb location!

Great family-run hotel. Warm, clean, and very well maintained. The location is excellent, right at the junction of two main blue slopes. The breakfast offers a good variety of local products, and there is also an option for a quality à la carte dinner. The spa is excellent and a great way to relax after skiing. The staff is friendly, efficient, and speaks English well.

Our experience today at Grünar. Unfortunately, the three kinds of dumplings for €21 were far too little for a proper meal. They did taste good, though. We started with three portions of escargot. These were good, but of course, very inexpensive. The frittata soup was just broth with ten noodles. It's best to order some toast with it. The filled pasta came with a salad that seemed to have been sent out of the kitchen four times already and hadn't been touched. This was mentioned when we paid, but unfortunately, it wasn't taken into account, and the staff reacted rather irritably. They're in Sölden every year, but sadly, this will be our last time at Grünar.

The hotel is located right at the ski slope leading to the Gaislachkogel cable car and can therefore be reached by ski. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Rooms old-fashioned

We went to a restaurant. The value for money was absolutely terrible. The mixed grill was €32. The pork and beef were overcooked, and the fries were swimming in oil. The waiter wanted to be friendly but forgot that we were paying customers. Better to eat somewhere else.

I wanted to book three nights, but only one of the old, unrenovated rooms was available for the first night. So I asked if it would be possible to book one night in one of those rooms and then switch rooms. At a room rate of €500 per night, that should be a given, but no, it's too much trouble. I can only book all the nights in the old room. Okay, fine then. I think the owners are too complacent and no longer understand their actual responsibility as service providers. I'm certainly not begging, and if they don't need my money, so be it.
