Hotel Alpina Sölden – Adults Only

A wonderful hotel in a prime location. Comfortable, clean, with comfortable beds and delicious breakfasts. The wonderful spa area with numerous saunas, a jacuzzi, and a relaxation area allows you to regenerate after a day of skiing. But the staff deserves special mention. Thank you for the stay, and I recommend it 100%.

Ideal location for winter sports enthusiasts and for exploring the area. Centrally located yet quiet, with free parking. A 2-minute walk to the ski bus. The amenities left nothing to be desired. The room was very comfortable, and the spa area was perfect for relaxing after skiing. The food and the staff were also fantastic! I would definitely come back again ☺️

A fantastic hotel in a perfect location. You can ski or snowboard right up to 10 meters below the hotel. The spa area is beautiful and spacious. The entire hotel has a very modern design. The staff are incredibly friendly, and everything is spotlessly clean. Another highlight is the breakfast buffet. The à la carte restaurant is also highly recommended! All in all, a truly wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Alpina Hotel – Adults Only. The location right on the slopes is perfect, especially for a relaxing ski holiday. All the staff were consistently very friendly and attentive – both at reception and at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast: a wide selection, excellent quality, and incredibly warm service. We found the shuttle service until 11:00 a.m. particularly convenient. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained – a big thank you to the housekeeping staff as well. My boyfriend and I (both 33) felt completely at ease. A little highlight was the pleasant sauna scent throughout the hotel, which immediately created a cozy, almost homey feeling. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family without hesitation and would love to return!

Spa facilities are excellent, spotlessly maintained and everything in perfect working order. There are two saunas, one is a Finnish sauna and really does reach the right temperature. Two steam rooms, a tepidarium, red light therapy, cold channel which is excellent for lower leg stimulation and lots of space to sit and relax. There’s also a jacuzzi. It is a ‘no fabric’ space, as any good spa should be!! We’re too parky about our bodies in the uk, not here. They offer a wide selection of fruit teas, hot water, fresh fruit infused cold drinking water and healthy snacks. It is open from 3 to 9PM. Breakfast is generous and there is a lot of choice. The rooms are spacious and nicely laid out although could use more hooks and drawer space. It was too hot for us in the room but opening the window meant a bit of noise from the water treatment place next door and the church which starts chiming at 6. It was a trade off. The location of the hotel is good, not excellent. It is not a long walk on the main road to the nearest gondola (Giggijoch) but the hotel is up a very steep lane. Walking this, especially in ski boots, is very dangerous, especially after some snow fall or if it’s icy. The shuttle is helpful for the morning but you’re walking back as it does not run in the afternoon. Or you can ski down red 21a which brings you to the bottom of the lane right by Marco’s bar. Or jump on a bus. I was very surprised that there is nowhere in the hotel to easily get hold of a hot drink outside of breakfast time. You have to order, and pay, for a simple tea. The hotel do not provide facilities for guests to make their own drinks in the rooms. They also do not provide an afternoon tea, which is common in ski hotels. If you’re stuck in the hotel due to bad weather, or because you get sick (as in our case) it feels very mean to not be able to get a simple hot drink, or easily access hot water to take a Lemsip. The procedure of asking for a hot drink in the bar, for my poorly husband, was embarrassing with the young lady seemingly never have been asked for such a thing before. After a 10min wait for her to work out where the kettle was and what crockery she could use to give me plain hot water, I gave up. I figured it was easier to just wait 40 mins then I could access something nicer from the spa. Ratings are overall. With a little more generosity over tea and coffee for your guests, it would have been top marks all round.

We spontaneously got a classic room at a very good price. The friendliness and service were outstanding, and the breakfast was excellent. The location is also ideal.
