I wish I knew the names of all the staff members, they were all fantastic. I know Shams because she was always working and always so friendly and happy to help. I don’t think I would’ve stayed as long as I did if it wasn’t for her making my stay so pleasant. The rooms are spacious and clean. Room service and kitchen food are fantastic. Gym and pool great! Will definitely stay here on my next visit. A little remote, but Bolt is inexpensive and the metro is close for downtown and points of interest.

The room is super hot in May & no way to lower the temperature.

Those looking for a comfortable stay with ample amenities might consider a nice hotel.

We stayed at the hotel as a family (my wife and two children). First of all, it's a very clean hotel. I liked the rooms; they're very spacious and have high ceilings. The staff are respectful and extremely helpful. My children also enjoyed the pool; it's an indoor pool and the water is heated. The pool is open until 10 pm. We didn't have any problems with the internet speed. All four of us used it comfortably. Although the hotel's location isn't in the city center, we could easily reach the beach and the interior by walking to Bakmik metro station in 9 minutes. The staff at the reception helped us with the departure times from Bakmik station. There's a metro from Bakmik every 5-10 minutes. You can buy a card from the machine at the station for 2 manat and load it on. The machine doesn't give cash back, so don't pay a large amount. It's 0.60 manat per person. The tourist areas in Baku are close to each other, and the metro easily met our needs as a family with children. We used Bolt taxi to return to the hotel when we were very tired.

Pros: Very spacious, clean rooms (we booked a King Suite); free parking; very friendly and helpful staff (at reception, room service, spa, and in the restaurant during breakfast); a large swimming pool. We also received complimentary fruit, which was a very kind and unexpected gesture. The subway is just about an 8-minute walk away. Cons: Keep the location in mind (it suited our purposes, but may not be ideal for exploring Baku). The spa needs renovation (especially the sauna). I was also unpleasantly surprised that smoking is allowed in the spa restaurant area – it feels quite inappropriate nowadays. I would also recommend installing warmer lighting in the spa, which would easily make the experience more relaxing. Additionally, there were issues with soundproofing, which became problematic as very loud music – presumably from a party in the restaurant – continued until at least 3 a.m

Two star hotel under the Wyndham brand! While the breakfast was okay, the location is not within walking distance to any store/restaurant/cafe. The building is dated (with weirdly wide hallways - see photo), with worn carpet and rickety chairs. Worst of all, the temperature was impossible to be adjusted and the room was too cold, plus the shower temperature was either too hot or too cold - making the experience worth perhaps only one star… I didn’t think I would miss the Motel 6 experience I had more than 40 years ago until now!
