This weekend we had a weekend in Lier. Guzy was perfectly fine. We received a friendly welcome, the rooms were clean, there was air conditioning in the rooms, a super breakfast with a lot of choice, and a good host! It was my mom's birthday and she received a small gift, which was very nice and sweet!

Best sandwich shop in Lier! We stopped by by chance and it was great. The sandwiches were super fresh and well-filled, the salad was very generous, and the ice creams were delicious. Very clean place and a very nice interior. The staff was also very nice and helpful. This is going to be my place to be! Definitely recommended.

Hospitality is paramount here... Hotel Guzy is no ordinary hotel – in many ways, it feels more like a B&B. From the outside, the entrance is easily missed, especially since it's inaccessible to non-guests on weekends – requiring a quick phone call at check-in (the number is posted on the front door). The welcome is warm, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel's ambiance is playfully oriental and anything but boring. This is also reflected in the layout of the rooms throughout the building, which should particularly appeal to open-minded, adventurous people aged 20 to 60. Our room was on the top floor, accessed via a two-story spiral staircase, a small, winding side corridor, and another, steeper stairwell – so not exactly a hotel for people with mobility issues or those who are unsteady on stairs. However, if you don't have these physical limitations, exploring this small, rambling hotel is a real treat for the eyes and mind. Let's talk about breakfast, which was included in our booking. It takes place in an oriental-style dining room divided into two sections by a wall. Adjoining the dining room is a small kitchen where the friendly host lovingly and meticulously prepares a very extensive and exceptional breakfast for his guests. It was truly delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. P.S.: Inexpensive parking can be found in the camera-monitored parking garage below the police station. We paid only €6 for almost 20 hours of parking there.
