Split Pride 2027

Split Pride is Croatia's second big LGBTQ+ Pride, held every year in Split, Dalmatia's main city and the country's largest on the coast. It's had a rougher run than Zagreb Pride. Early on, nationalist and Catholic groups pushed back hard. That it keeps going, year after year, shows how determined Croatia's LGBTQ+ community is to be seen, not just in the capital.

The Pride march winds through Split's city center, police always present. Beyond the march, there's a lineup of cultural and community events. These make good use of Split's backdrop: the old walls of Diocletian's Palace, the Riva promenade along the water, and the city's vibe—it's a real Croatian place that also happens to be a major European tourist draw.

People come from all over Dalmatia and Croatia. Plus, international LGBTQ+ travelers often plan their trips to hit the event.
