Heart Hotel

The most important purpose of a hotel is to provide a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, I have to give a low rating because of the old windows, which let in a lot of noise (including loud cats at night) and allow cold air to enter the room through the gaps. We happened to stay at the hotel during bad weather, which made this issue especially noticeable. Neither the design nor other amenities can compensate for these shortcomings. The only thing that works well is the heating system. However, one has to wonder whether it makes sense to spend so much energy on heating when the problem could be solved by simply fixing the windows.

This is a small, elegant boutique hotel located in the heart of Limassol's old town, in a historic building listed as a cultural heritage site and carefully restored to preserve its architectural authenticity, where modern minimalism and comfort are intertwined with the history and character of the place. From my comments on the restoration: 1. Poorly installed metal shelves in the rooms pose a danger to hotel guests. They are so inconveniently made that we hit our heads on them several times. 2. Noise accompaniment of rooms in the form of technical ventilation. The old technology is clearly used, because modern ventilation systems are quite quiet and noiseless. Moreover, these systems are located outside the rooms, but the noise from them is so strong that it greatly affects the quality of sleep and rest. 3. The ventilation in the showers turns on at the same time as the light. This is a very unfortunate decision, especially at night. This ventilation is too noisy too. This hotel is the first flagship project of the Heart Hotels chain, which specializes in transforming abandoned or forgotten buildings into stylish hotels with a unique design and atmosphere, preserving the spirit of the historical environment and adding elements of modern art to it. It seems to me that we need to pay more attention to the details of the interior, remembering the local flavor. Among the advantages: a private atmosphere, the presence of a green courtyard and the concept of the Honesty Bar — a corner with drinks and snacks, where everyone chooses and pays for what they took, which creates a sense of trust and tranquility. On the downside, the coffee machine produces a mixture of water and milk instead of hot water. The hotel is located within walking distance from the main attractions of Limassol, but there are a lot of pretty shabby buildings and few convenient pedestrian sidewalks. There is a magnificent, wonderful church in front of the hotel. I advise you to visit her. There is no breakfast in the hotel. I consider this rather a disadvantage.

I had an excellent stay at Heart Hotel in Limassol. I had the most wonderful hotel experience.

It's definitely the best place in the old city centre. A house that's over 100 years old, lovingly restored, and with all the modern comforts. It's on a small street, but everything is close by. It's a small boutique hotel with only 11 rooms, so you have to book in advance. I would like to thank the hotel's team for their help and for making us feel so welcome.

Lovely room in a beautifully restored building, in Limassol's old town. I checked in after hours and getting the entry code was easy via WhatsApp, and checking out equally straightforward when I left very early in the morning.
