About this place Kafírna u Ceského Pána

Kafírna u Ceského Pána is a small, characterful gay bar located in Prague's city center at 13 Kozí street. True to its 80's aesthetic, the venue features pink curtains and colourful wallpaper that create a fun, retro atmosphere. It's the kind of intimate spot that appeals to visitors looking for a genuine local gay bar experience rather than a large-scale nightclub scene. The bar maintains a welcoming vibe with a soundtrack that includes plenty of Diana Ross—perfect if you appreciate classic pop hits from the era. The team behind the bar is known for being friendly and attentive, and the venue offers free WiFi for guests who want to stay connected. Whether you're stopping by for an evening drink or looking to meet other travelers and locals, this is a casual, unpretentious space where you can relax. The venue is open daily, making it easy to pop in whenever you're exploring Prague's gay scene. Its central location means it's conveniently situated for pub crawls or as a starting point for your evening out. For those seeking an authentic Prague gay bar with personality and a nostalgic 80's charm, this is a solid choice.

This is a really relaxed, chilled and friendly little bar! Good vibes and cool music! We visited yesterday and today (4th November) and will definitely be back tomorrow! Hunky bearded barman a lovely bonus!!

Hilariously unwelcoming!! Seriously, try it. We went here on s local recommendation. The barman, who looked like an annoyed Bjorn Borg, slapped sA truck load of menus in front of us after I told him we'd been walking around the block (because the pavement outside the place was being dug up). Generic pop music played while we waited for him to finish washing glasses right in front of us. We ordered a beer and were made to feel VERY unwelcome and then left after I asked Bjorn why he even bothered to operate a bar if he insisted on treating his patrons like dirt. No answer. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

nice place, staff very friendly and helpful. Those guys are great. I like coming here, it's a non-smoking establishment, but I don't mind going outside for a cigarette...
