This Hotel service is a joke, except the restaurant service, there people are friendly and welcoming. They wake you up in the middle of the night because they delivered room service to the wrong room, they try to apologize and offer some gesture but they never do. They charge you high amount per day, but tell you that the spa and swimming pool under maintaince and offer you to go to another hotel. The hotel is quite old compared to the shiny photos.

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Mark Prague for 4 nights while travelling to Europe on a romantic getaway. The location is centrally located and one of its main features is the beautiful garden in the back which serves a very good breakfast. Although besides that the rooms are dated and have no modern climate control/thermostat in the room. Either you are freezing or dying of heat. No matter how many times we called the front desk, this was the reality of the hotel rooms climate control system and the problem remained unresolved. Unfortunately because of this we were not able to have one good night sleep. The other issue is we found humidity insects in the bathroom, probably because the shower stalls, no matter how careful you are when taking a shower, will not seal water from escaping through the glass door into the bathroom area. You need to wipe down the water in the bathroom every time you take a shower, which is a complete nuisance. Finally on the second to last night when we came back from dinner, my wife's Hamza with Hebrew writing (religious keepsake from Jerusalem) hanging on the zipper of her backpack was missing. The hotel claims they spoke to the cleaning lady who entered the room during the time we left for dinner and the response from the hotel was that the cleaning lady never noticed a back pack in the room. This made no sense to us, because my wife's backpack was the first thing you notice when entering the room, and it never moved from the same spot from the time we checked-in. Bottom line our overall experience at this hotel was definitely not a good one.
