GreenStar Hotel Lahti

Really cozy and clean hotel. Great location, easy to get to even from the train. Breakfast is really diverse and parking is in a monitored parking lot.

Rooms in poor condition. We went to report that our room had poor air quality (stuffy nose), paint was dripping from the walls and the walls were cracking. The information desk told us to change the room to a similarly awful one. The windows in the room cannot be opened. There was a greasy handprint on the wall at the head of the bed. If you just need a place to sleep, the hotel meets the requirements, but if you want to relax and stay in a hotel, I recommend looking elsewhere. The hotel's location is good, walking distance to the city center and the train station right next door (the noise is not heard in the hotel). The walls are papered inside the hotel. You can get coffee from the Respa.

Clean, quiet hotel. Triple room a bit cramped, third pull-out bed quite hard to sleep on. Breakfast was good.

I was at a members' night at GreenStar. It reminded me of the old days when there were nightclubs and other "carnivals". The conference facilities were good, there were cannons and games and gadgets. The food from the standing table in the restaurant was good, and there were different types of desserts. The customer service was friendly, as soon as you came through the door you were greeted and guided to the right place. The location is good if you come by train or Omnibus, because the hotel is located near the travel center. If you come by your own car, there are quite a few parking spaces in the hotel yard, payment is handled by easypark. I can't say for the hotel what kind of rooms it has or how the parking is handled then.
