Guesthouse Little Tundra

I enjoyed my stay very much. Rooms are clean, the service is always available if needed. The location is perfect, it’s right by the railway station. So fortunately I didn’t have to drag my suitcases to the center of the city and pay triple price for about same services. Also, you don’t need a taxi, the hostel is like 100 meters away from the railway station. A nice and cozy place to stay. I personally haven’t heard one train passing by at night. Also, the hostel definitely has some northern vibe to it. I highly recommend. Good job guys! I appreciate.

A strange experience. The room is not a room at all, but a thin walled outdoor guesthouse situated in a large hall where the common areas are. The room itself was very nice and clean, no problems there. However the service left us confused. The staff was family members and friends and were for the most part just hanging around. It was hard to know if people were working there or if they were other guests of the house, we had to figure out most things ourselves. There were free towels in the bathroom and the area was clean and nice in general. The layout of the common area was, let's say - in the style of Sovjet grandma. The other guests were coming and going until quite late and the lights were turning on and off outside the "Hutt" and it never felt truly safe, as strangers walked the common area outside your door until quite late in the night. Summary: You get what is advertised. The place looks like it does in the pictures and we got our room on the spot. If I would stop there this guesthouse would have gotten at least 3-4 stars. But the lackluster service, the confusing common area, the thin walled hutt's and unknown people generally just hanging around takes the rating down to 2 stars. We never felt like we had our own room and a safe space. The location is great just at the tracks to the railway station (you hear the trains passing by) but If you have the opportunity to pay a little bit more for an ordinary hotel - do that. The "Hutt" experience is not worth the money.

An idyllic and very charming little place where you stay overnight in the cottages inside. The rooms are not soundproofed, which was mentioned on the website in advance, but at least in my case the other guests were very quiet so we had a really peaceful two nights. We will come here again if we need accommodation in Lahti.

Next to Lahti train station, but the noise didn't bother me at night, but during the day you can hear it. If you need a personal place to stay, this is it. Big, good sauna. Specially furnished, I liked the apartment. Good bed to sleep in, and best of all, my little dog was allowed to stay there too, free of charge, big +. Thanks to the landlady.

Fun and comfortable place to stay!

Lovely room, with personality. Old and modern mixed tastefully. Own sauna 🥰🥰 absolutely lovely. Own entrance, you can park your car right next to it. Quiet, even though the train track is right next to it.

A truly idyllic place. Easy to get to and easy to stay in. You could get to the yard by car and there is also space by the roadside. Clean rooms and the common area has space for a large group. In the kitchenette you could easily prepare dinner and breakfast from your own food. Recommend trying it.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The room was clean and had everything you needed. It is in a good location. The sauna is the best. I recommend it.
