Best Western Plus Hôtel La Joliette

We had a wonderful stay. A huge thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome, kindness, and helpfulness. Abdalah was incredibly friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you all, we highly recommend it!

Very disappointed. The photos don't match what you find. The entrance with the reception area is in a vestibule. The room is very small. If you get one facing the boulevard, it's hell because, on top of everything else, the window wasn't double-glazed. We asked for another room on the other side of the building. The lounge and bar area is closed off by boards made of pressed wood chips at reception. The pool: cloudy water, non-functional jets, and the edges of the liner were black with grime. Breakfast was good, but it's a shame the terrace floor was so dirty. Cutlery wasn't set on the tortoiseshell tables with overflowing ashtrays... and the metal chairs had no seat cushions. Extremely uncomfortable. Is this a 4-star hotel??? No way!

Overall, the stay was acceptable but rather mixed for a hotel advertised as 4 stars. The staff were pleasant and friendly, which is definitely a positive point. However, several details were not up to the standards of an establishment in this category. The TV channels in the room were outdated, and there was no closed bin in the bathroom. The smallest room with a double bed was truly cramped: the bed took up almost all the space, with only one bedside table and very little room to open or even place large suitcases. Regarding breakfast, it was quite limited overall. There was little choice of fruit and fresh juice, and the whole-grain bread was quickly exhausted and not replenished despite being requested by the staff. Another surprising detail: a tub of collagen powder was inconsistently left among the breakfast items (it was still in its original container, and there was absolutely no explanation of how to use it or the correct dosage). In summary, a decent stay thanks to the staff, but several organizational and comfort points that do not really meet the expected standards of a 4-star hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was truly excellent, very comfortable and well-appointed. The service was impeccable, with very responsive and friendly staff. I would especially like to thank Larbi, who was attentive, available, and genuinely kind. If you're looking for a place where everything is spotless, I highly recommend this hotel. We were absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel: - The staff's welcome, kindness, and helpfulness were truly excellent. - The room was very clean and the bedding very comfortable. - The hotel is ideally located (near the train station and the old port). - The swimming pool was very pleasant.

The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, the bathroom great, with nice mirrors and a TV. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was delicious (we loved the pancake maker). The pool and sauna were both very nice. A few details: there were exposed wires in the room from some lamps that had been removed, which we didn't like, and there was no nightlight. The pool didn't have the blue lights my son was excited about, and the bed didn't have a sheet separating the duvet cover, which isn't washed very often, and I wasn't thrilled about that area. But these are minor details. Overall, my 5-year-old son left very happy, and that makes me happy too. Thank you to the wonderful and friendly hotel staff. Everyone who works there is truly lovely.

Pleasant, clean hotel with tasteful decor. The pool, accessible at no extra charge, was very nice. The room was a bit small, with no room to open a suitcase... The bedding was good, except for the mattress topper which kept shifting whenever we turned over... The breakfast was plentiful and the staff was pleasant.

Honestly, I had a very good stay at the Best Western La Joliette. The rooms were clean, the pool and hammam were lovely, and the breakfast was really excellent. The staff was welcoming and the service was top-notch from beginning to end. A special thank you to Abdel for his kindness and hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and we especially want to thank Larbi at reception for his exceptional kindness and professionalism. We arrived in Marseille very early after an early morning flight from Malta and were extremely tired. Larbi kindly checked whether our room was ready and was able to offer us an early check-in free of charge. This made such a huge difference to our stay, as we were able to rest and recharge before heading out to explore the city. His helpful attitude and genuine willingness to assist did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciated the warm welcome. Thank you again, Larbi, for making the start of our trip so much more comfortable! Highly recommended.
