Hôtel Occitania Centre Toulouse Matabiau

A hotel where you can’t get anything sorted, the staff is unhelpful and artificially nice. I don’t recommend staying here at all

Great location right in front of station. Amazing breakfast service by Matthieu, cleaning lady also seemed very nice. It was just a bit unfortunate that there's no water kettle and free tea in the room itself.

I must especially congratulate the receptionists, whose warmth, empathy, and willingness to help exceeded all my expectations. I can't recall another place so committed to my safety and well-being. I didn't encounter the coldness or indifferent courtesy that characterizes luxury hotels. What I will remember for the rest of my life is the humanity, the gentleness of the service, and the genuine interest in helping other tourists, especially those with children. I had no problems with the Wi-Fi or anything else. Congratulations to the staff for their dedication, and especially to the receptionists.

Very low-end hotel. Service unworthy of a two-star rating. Very small and noisy rooms. Appalling breakfast (no savory options, no hot drinks, disgusting orange juice...). Avoid at all costs. And I'm referring to the Occitania Toulouse hotel (opposite Matabiau train station) where I had a terrible night in June 2025!

Directly opposite the main station and near a stop for the airport bus. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable. Helpful English speaking staff. Lots of cafés / bistros nearby.

Good value for money. Right next to Matabiau station
