The perfect location. Perfect for a stay in the old town and a truly memorable experience!!! The staff – thank you all so much. Very friendly and helpful. They speak Russian. Breakfast is limited, but for a hotel of this size, it's hard to find more. Otherwise, it's quite tasty and you definitely won't go hungry. The view from the breakfast area deserves special attention – it's like a mini-sightseeing tour of Batumi. Absolutely stunning. The rooms are very clean. Daily cleaning and towel changes. Tea, coffee, and water are replenished daily. Plenty of shower gel and shampoo. We booked a family room. It has a full double bed and a single bed for the child. No compromises like sofas or anything else...there's a kettle and a refrigerator. I highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, this isn't a 4-star hotel. I'd say a 1-star at most; the photos on Booking.com don't match reality. Breakfast was a disaster... Firstly, the room was extremely stuffy; they could have used some air, but it felt like you were sitting in a kitchen near a stove. The only food available was cheap soy sausage, cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise, and some kind of yogurt. There were no vegetables at all. The bread was dry. There were three staff members, and there was no milk in the coffee machine. The omelet we ordered was oversalted and had raw egg whites inside. The room we were checked into was a different story: the shower drain hadn't been cleaned, so when you showered, water gushed out, leaving the entire bathroom standing. We had to soak up the water with a towel to even be able to stand in it. We asked for the shower to be cleaned immediately after checking in that evening, and were told a cleaning crew would come at 8 a.m. to fix it. After 11 a.m., we called a second time and were told it would take time to resolve and that we could only bathe if we left the water standing. One person was able to do this, but the other couldn't get into the shower because there was standing water everywhere. It's not normal to do anything in such conditions. Sorry, but your feet will be standing in water just to go to the bathroom. I absolutely do not recommend it. We've stayed in cheaper hotels in Batumi and never had this happen. But here, they're dealing with a standard that doesn't exist anywhere else.
Everything was fine except that early in the morning, before I even woke up, the receptionist opened the door. I asked him, and he said, "I'm thinking... there's no one here. I checked in yesterday... If you have a family with you, don't go there. I don't recommend them. They might not be safe. Don't leave your belongings inside the hotel... I don't recommend them." 👌🏻
Beautiful location in the old town. Management is very helpful. Good value for money.
