Augsburger Aidshilfe e.V. is the city's HIV and sexual-health organisation, based at Ulmer Straße 182 in Kriegshaber, west of the centre. It offers counselling, prevention work and Checkpoint testing for HIV and other STIs, and 2026 is its 40th year.
Office hours on its website are Monday and Wednesday 9:00-13:00 and Tuesday and Thursday 14:00-16:30; Checkpoint testing runs on set evenings (one is on 17 November 2026, 18:00-19:30).
