Eastside Pension Guesthouse: It's a clean, affordable spot in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg, with single and double rooms, plus a few apartments if you need more space. Think of it as a practical base for LGBTQ+ travelers who want to see Berlin without blowing their budget.
The big draw here is the guesthouse also runs a bike rental business, Lila Bike. Berlin is a city made for cycling, and being able to grab a bike right where you're staying really opens things up. You can easily get past the usual gay scene in Schöneberg and explore at your own speed—from the oddball cafes and galleries in Prenzlauer Berg to the bigger sights across town.
It’s near the Eberswalder Straße U-Bahn, in a popular area with plenty of local flavor. You're not right in the middle of the main gay nightlife, but that can be a good thing. It means a calmer vibe and a chance to check out Berlin’s more creative corners. Grab a bike, hit a museum, or just hang out. It’s a solid, friendly home for a Berlin trip.

I'm paying more than double the price listed on the website through my company. The mattresses were only €5 at Temu! The room is so cramped that my shoulders constantly bump into the bunk bed when I go to the toilet. I booked a double room and got a children's room. A complete disaster!!! The worst hotel I've ever stayed in!!!
I booked an overnight stay for a business meeting. Booking through the hotel's website, as well as check-in and check-out, was really easy. All processes were well organized. The room quality was appropriate for the price.
Lovely room and really good bathrooms! The guest kitchen was great and well equipped. Outdoor area for summer which was a bonus. Good location next to East Side Gallery and train station.
The place is very well located and has everything you need. The rooms are very small. What's random is the number of people you'll encounter during your visit. I don't even know if this time of year is the preferred time for large groups of teenagers, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
