About this place Miniloft

Miniloft has 14 apartments, split between two buildings in Berlin. The first, a late-19th-century structure, got six designer lofts in 2002. Then, in 2004, an adjoining new building with curved walls and stainless steel added eight more, all concrete-heavy. Partners Britta Jürgens and Matthew Griffin run the whole thing, aiming for bright, big, well-stocked places to stay. Berlin’s a long-standing queer travel hub, with neighborhoods, nightlife, and a whole cultural scene built around it. Staying somewhere like this, independently run and gay-friendly, means your money goes to LGBTQ+ owners. It also means you’re staying somewhere that gets it. The apartments themselves are designed to be good-looking and comfortable, whether you’re here for the museums, the clubs, or the city’s queer communities. The location is central, which helps. You can get to most places easily. And the prices are fair, especially for proper design-focused accommodation. Solo, with a partner, or with friends, these bright, big apartments work as a base. For a place that mixes modern design with real hospitality in one of Europe’s most LGBTQ+-friendly cities, Miniloft is a good bet.

I had a lovely stay at Miniloft. Spacious, modern, and clean, located in a safe area close to restaurants and Humboldt University. What is more, the staff was very accommodating, both in terms of check in and also following my stay. I forgot something in the room and they were very prompt in getting it to me. Highly recommended!

We spent a weekend in Berlin and had a wonderful time! Great location, very spacious lofts, cool, clean, and incredibly friendly people! Cafés, pubs, and shops for self-catering are nearby. Highly recommended!

Great location! The apartment offers ample space for four people. Furthermore, if you're driving to Berlin, there's parking available nearby. There are plenty of public transport options from the city center and the main train station. Finally, there are supermarkets within a 5-minute walk. However, due to its proximity to the Charité hospital, it's usually quite noisy, and you'll hear the traffic noise.
