Queer Character Design School

Do you want to bring your queer characters to life? Then check out the Queer Character Design School! With a special focus on the comic medium, the workshop series highlights queer narratives – and of course, the characters who shape these stories. The workshops are primarily aimed at queer comic creators, but all interested parties are welcome, regardless of their own identity. As sensitive topics may arise, this is an event for adults.
October 1, 9, 15, and 16, 2026, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at uzwei in the Dortmunder U. The workshop days build on each other but can also be attended independently. Participation is free.
