Moxy Dresden Neustadt

The perfect hotel to explore Dresden. Two minutes walk from the Neustadt train station, in a hip neighborhood. 10 minute tram from the historic center. The rooms are lovely. The vibe is cool and comfortable. The staff are friendly and efficient. Everything here runs smoothly. Free coffee all day and the best ironing room in amy hotel. Shout out to Andy for great service.

It's all about being hip. World Cup day. German flags hung in the TV area, but Marriott ads have to be on TV. That's more important than guests. When people check in, the bar is closed because the bartender handles check-in. Unacceptable.

I've stayed at the Moxy several times and find it okay to good – but not great. I'll come back, but I'm not 100% satisfied. The staff are always extremely friendly, easygoing, and helpful. Really great service! The hostel is stylishly furnished and modern. The Wi-Fi works perfectly. The rooms are very small but have everything you need and are very functional and clean. The same goes for the bathrooms. What bothers me: In several rooms, a very musty/disgusting smell comes from the bathroom drain. There's no ventilation in the bathroom. What I really don't like is the breakfast. A mini buffet with few high-quality products (the juice tastes like concentrate, hardly any regional or organic products, little for vegans (but at least there's almond milk!), nothing special, just the bare minimum) and for €18. Outrageously overpriced. Very good location.

Modern hotel in Dresden's Neustadt district. Rooms are stylish and functional. Good breakfast buffet in the lobby bar. Underground parking available. The hotel is located right next to Dresden Neustadt train station; you just have to cross the street. Shops, restaurants, and bars are nearby. The Elbe riverbank and the Old Town are about a 15-20 minute walk away.

The hotel is a great option if you’re passing through Dresden and plan to spend most of the day sightseeing and exploring the city. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout the stay. The location is a little further from the city center, but still manageable and convenient enough for getting around. The room was a decent size for 1 person, and the bathroom was clean as well.

Unfortunately, my experience with the Moxy Hotel was extremely disappointing. Due to health problems, I was unable to travel and tried to find a solution with the hotel. However, communication was impossible, both by phone and email. The hotel was practically unreachable by phone, they never returned my call, and my email went unanswered. Customer service seems to be a non-issue here.

The staff were very friendly, the location was great and easily accessible from the city, and the rooms were modern and clean! It's worth the money!
