On the day of my arrival, I had already inquired about the possibility of an early check-in. Unfortunately, this was not possible. I arrived at the hotel around noon, left my luggage at reception, and was given my room number. The receptionist explained that I simply needed to return at 3:00 p.m. – the official check-in time – to collect my room key. I then went into town, took a walk in the sweltering heat, and had lunch at a restaurant. I returned to the hotel promptly at 3:00 p.m. After an approximately four-hour train journey and the subsequent walk through the city, I was already quite exhausted. I was looking forward to finally getting into my room, resting, and taking a shower after the intense heat. To my surprise, however, there were about 30 people waiting in a long queue at reception. It quickly became clear that the rooms were not yet ready. Dozens more guests were already waiting behind me to check in. The reception was staffed by only one employee, who was clearly overwhelmed by the situation. She became increasingly stressed and yelled at several dissatisfied guests. Many guests were heading to the Bad Bunny concert that evening and were therefore under additional time pressure. Ultimately, I didn't get my room until another 3.5 hours of waiting. I've stayed in many hotels, but I've never experienced such a chaotic and poorly organized check-in. The room itself was clean, but very hot. Since there was no air conditioning, I was constantly sweating. With the window open, the constant noise from the tram passing right by made restful sleep nearly impossible, especially at night. During my entire stay, I only managed to sleep a few hours each night. Breakfast was very basic and offered little variety. The same selection was available every single day. The rest of the staff were friendly and respectful. For a hotel with over 170 rooms, it's incomprehensible to me that apparently only two people are responsible for room cleaning. This seems to have been a major reason for the significant delays at check-in. Overall, this stay was very disappointing. The hotel's organization was inadequate and did not meet my expectations. I will not book this hotel again and, based on my experience, unfortunately cannot recommend it.

Endless waiting times at check-in. Two out of three rooms were still not ready two hours after check-in. Insects in the room.

The hotel is disgusting, there are other people's hair on the floor, in the shower, in the bed, dead and live insects. The furniture is old, the wardrobe has no handles at all. The tiles in the bathroom are broken. The room does not have a condenser, refrigerator, or even a kettle, and what else can I say, there are not even lamps on the bedside tables. Only general lighting. The only good thing about the hotel is the friendly staff and the close location to the station. 296.25 euros for three nights and this is supposedly with a discount, it seems like a real robbery. Honestly, I'm tired of the crappy recommendations of booking and their company agoda.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment. With an outside temperature of 38°C, there was neither air conditioning nor a fan in the room. Even worse, the bathroom floor was extremely hot, as if the underfloor heating were on. There was no way to turn it off. This made the room unbearably hot – it felt like about 45°C. Sleeping or relaxing was completely out of the question. The cleanliness also left much to be desired. There were dust bunnies in the room, and overall it didn't look well-maintained. For the price, I would have at least expected a clean room and a way to cool it down to a bearable temperature in this heat. I cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

We are staying in room 40 and are a group of three. The actual conditions do not match the information provided during booking. The photos and description do not correspond to reality. The pictures showed a proper single bed, but in reality, it is a sofa bed that is very uncomfortable to sleep on and causes back pain afterward. The room layout and appearance also differ significantly from the booking photos. Furthermore, there is neither air conditioning nor a fan in the room. At the same time, we see that other rooms have fans provided. We can prove this with photos we took from our room. In addition, the radiator in the room is constantly very hot, making the temperature in the room unbearable. We can also provide photos as evidence of this. After our complaint, we were promised a fan, but it has not been provided even after two days, despite our repeated requests. We would also like to emphasize the particularly negative behavior of the staff. Instead of helping or finding a solution, the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. A receptionist shouted at us, raised her voice, and tried to "resolve" the problem through loud behavior instead of finding a solution. We found this behavior completely unacceptable. At the same time, we observed that air conditioning was in use in the staff areas and the lobby was pleasantly cool, while no solution was offered to guests. Due to the significant discrepancies between the promised services, the unfulfilled promises, and the unprofessional and inappropriate behavior of the staff, we request a refund for these two days.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during the Bad Bunny concert. Fortunately in our case we arrived 1 day before the concert and we didn’t have any issues with the check-in and it was done very fast. The location is excellent, just a 4-minute walk from Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). From there, you can easily reach the Old Town and the Merkur Spiel-Arena using public transportation. The breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of options. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Our room was spacious; however, it did not have air conditioning or a refrigerator. Considering how warm it was in Düsseldorf during our stay, the lack of air conditioning was a significant drawback. Fortunately, the staff provided in our case a fan, which helped somewhat. Another downside was the noise level at night, as we could hear a lot of sounds coming from outside. Despite these minor inconveniences, we would still recommend this hotel for a stay in Düsseldorf. In our case as we booked months in advance, so it was good value for money.

It was quite an environment. There was no air conditioning or refrigerator. There were no kettles or cups either. The toilet was like this from the start: The toilet paper wasn't flushing, and there was a lot of hair on the sink floor and shower booth walls. There was hair sticking out from the gaps in the freshly hung towels... It felt like they only made the bed and didn't clean. The shower booth drain clogged up immediately, making it a real struggle to clean. I suppose the small size is unavoidable given the location, but the lack of cleanliness is a major drawback.
