I thought it was absolutely fantastic there, I felt really comfortable. The bar owner was also lovely. Perfect bar for non-binary people for pre-drinks or just a relaxed evening.

It was a very nice night! Very good atmosphere! We loved the place. We felt very welcome in this safe space. Klein aber super fein!

I wanted to go with my girlfriend, but the bartender was incredibly unfriendly! She told us the bar was only for locals, even though there were only two women in the bar… Maybe because we look Latina.

Yesterday I spent a wonderful evening with my girlfriends at Lagata. The waitress, an older lady, chatted very thoughtfully with the three of us. We had a marvelous evening in a respectful and very pleasant atmosphere at the unique, tradition-conscious Lagata. Unfortunately, the owner wasn't there yesterday. I would have loved to see her. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone with so much heart and strength of character. For anyone who loves nostalgia, has an eye for detail, and a heart for empathy, Lagata is the most wonderful lesbian bar imaginable.

This place is the most perfect, warm, wonderful dive bar in the whole wide world. And above all else, it was an incredibly sweet and welcoming experience to visit the world's oldest lesbian bar. I have visited lesbian bars in other cities where the vibe feels closed off. Not exactly open to outsiders, younger lesbians, and foreigners. But there was none of that here. The bar was not busy when I went, but had a good mix of younger and older women. Who were all so kind and lovely. Sylvie is an absolute blessing of a woman who tolerated my broken german for many hours, shared her stories of working in the bar, and introduced me to some new beverages I had never tried before. I hope this place lives longer than I do, so I can return again and again. Also.... crazy cheap for frankfurt. Got absolutely smashed for less than 25 euro. Plus free snacks, free jukebox, and indoor smoking.

Well, what can I say... A bar/club with a feel-good atmosphere 🌹❤️ definitely worth a visit 🌈💃🏽
