The Schwule Filmwoche Freiburg is the oldest continuously existing gay film festival in the German-speaking world and has taken place annually since 1985. The association has set itself the task of bringing gay films and a diverse film program to the big screen that would otherwise hardly be shown in regular cinema programming.
