Antifa, Of Course! — . On Fascism in Germany and How We Remain Capable of Action

Saturday, 12 September 2026 · 13:00 – 16:00 planlos-leipzig.org, Leipzig, Germany

About the event

With Friedrich Burschel (historian, political scientist, and journalist) and Tabitha Potthoff (sociologist, activist with Widersetzen)

An event by VVN-BdA Sachsen e.V. and RLS Sachsen

The current political development is heading towards authoritarian tipping points. We are experiencing a radicalized conservatism that, with the support of right-wing media campaigns, attacks human rights as well as social and labor rights, while simultaneously promoting militarization, surveillance, and rearmament. This process of fascization has long extended far beyond the right-wing camp; the establishment and normalization of far-right structures are visible everywhere.

This requires not only a clear anti-fascist positioning but also new solidarity-based and social alliances.

Antifascist practice is diverse in action, and its solidarity is based on mutual help and protection. We want to provide space for asking questions, exchanging experiences, and taking action.

Due to limited capacity, we ask for pre-registration at: anmeldung@rosalux-sachsen.de

This measure is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon State Parliament.
It takes place in cooperation with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. Social Analysis and Political Education e.V.
