About the event
5 Years of FUB Meets Queer Night at WERK 2
Five years of the Center for Assistance and Counseling on Sexual Violence (FUB)—we’d like to celebrate this with you!
To mark this anniversary, we’re hosting a panel discussion starting at 7:30 p.m. Together with Sichtbar & Sebstbestimmt and Antisexist Support Leipzig, we want to look back, share current perspectives on the work against sexual violence, and discuss what it takes to create safe spaces based on solidarity for everyone.
Following the panel discussion, the hall will be set up for the after-party.
Starting at 11:00 PM, the Queer Night at WERK 2 will kick off: Aurora Polaris and DJ Jouissance will provide the perfect music for dancing, celebrating, and winding down the evening together with pop hits from every era.
In addition to the panel discussion and party, there will be an exhibition on the history of the “Frauen für Frauen” association and its feminist work to protect against violence. There will also be a small special feature and festive decorations for the anniversary celebration.
