Revive Ship Sponsorship - Prevent AfD Motion

On 09/02 at 4:30 PM, we will hold a short rally in front of City Hall to publicly express the city's responsibility for financially supporting sea rescue.
After postponement, the City Council will finally vote on our petition for the adoption of a ship sponsorship from Mission Lifeline e.V. on 09/02. This vote will decide whether the city of Leipzig will follow our demands for ship sponsorship or not. The city has symbolically committed to this in the course of joining the "Safe Harbor" alliance, but has not yet taken any further steps. In addition, the (fck)AfD is once again demanding Leipzig's withdrawal from the Safe Harbor alliance, which we must oppose.
Since the City Council meeting is public, we would like to attend after the rally and set an example with our presence. The more people, the better, which is why we ask for your support - feel free to come by so we can fill the stands as much as possible and show solidarity together!
