Saturday, 19 September 2026 · 11:00 – 12:30 planlos-leipzig.org, Leipzig, Germany

About the event

with Mirko Koch

The neighborhood tour presents six selected locations where camps and workplaces for forced laborers were located during National Socialism.
The focus will not only be on explaining the functional aspects of the camps but also on the daily lives of the forced laborers: What work did they have to do and what daily threats were they exposed to? How were they supplied, and what reactions from the German population to the camps and foreign forced laborers are known?

Meeting point: 11:00 AM in the inner courtyard of Werk 2 at Connewitzer Kreuz
Tram 9, 10, 11, Bus 70, 89, 100, 107 (Connewitz Kreuz)
Duration approx. 1½ hours to Neue Linie, Auwald
