Workshop: Democratic Visions — With a Clear Stance for Social Change

This workshop is part of the workshop series "Strengthened Through Crisis" – a cooperation between Konzeptwerk Neue Ökonomie e.V. and Konfliktpotential. For everyone who is active in associations, initiatives, projects or organizations and wants to constructively shape social challenges 💬

What is it about? Democratic societies thrive on people contributing their ideas of a desirable future and discussing them together. At the same time, many people experience social transformations as unsettling, conflict-ridden, or exhausting. Especially in times of crisis and upheaval, it can be helpful to place one's own work within larger social change processes and to reflect more consciously on one's own stance. In this workshop, you will gain insights into social transformation processes, their dynamics, and the role of civil society engagement within them. Building on this, you will further develop your own vision for a desirable future and work on communicating it clearly and convincingly. From the knowledge of one's own values and future visions, a democratic attitude emerges, which we want to further develop and reflect on together so that it strengthens you in your work. The goal of the workshop is to sharpen your own position more consciously and to support you in contributing to social change in a focused and long-term effective way.
