Dolly Best

Dolly Best is Lübeck's long-running gay adult venue on Lederstraße, in the Altstadt. It combines a sex shop with a porn cinema (Pornokino) and an on-site cruising area, with private cabins, sling and darkroom-style spaces. It is one of the very few dedicated spots on the male gay/queer map of a city that otherwise has no gay bar or sauna, and it is listed in established gay guides such as Spartacus. Practical notes: entry is adults only (18+), opening is daytime into the evening (roughly Mon–Sat from late morning to around 20:00, shorter on Sunday), and — as with any cruising venue — discretion, consent and awareness of your surroundings are expected. For a full bar-and-club night out, Hamburg (about 45 minutes by train) has the nearest developed scene.
