Best hostel I'ge stayed at to far. Kind service and community driven which brings a wonderful vibe inside of the hostel. The bedrooms are spacious and offer enough privacy even in the 10 person room, while also having space for sitting together. Facilities such as the showers are well maintained and the simple cereal breakfast was a nice addition. Locatiom it the city is also fantastic. I'n a little side street so you're not directly on the busy streets when walking out, but right between the water and the city. Lübeck is an incredibly city anyways so you can get anywhere by foot.

I sought and found refuge there from the Hanseatic Festival! Quiet, relaxed, I had a Zotrine, chilled out!

This is a really awful operator. We booked two months ago (in April), it was initially confirmed and paid for, but now in June we received an email saying they were overbooked and the room had been cancelled by the operator. They only noticed this after more than two months!

The rooms and communal showers are beautifully and individually designed, the location is perfect, but it's very noisy on weekends due to the pubs. You should be able to sleep with the window closed.

A wonderful, welcoming place! Thanks for the muesli every morning!

Pros: very clean both in the rooms and the bathrooms Cons: no assistance from staff when there was a double booked bed, and even with closed windows and ear plugs the party in the alley was incredibly loud. While this was communicated clearly beforehand, it was still much louder than expected.
