We were at the Hanseatic Hotel on business. Ms. Schmüser and her team are very friendly and helpful. We were able to arrange a spontaneous late check-in while we were en route. They also didn't hold it against us that we checked out later than 11:00 AM. We were even allowed to work in the breakfast room, even though it's normally closed around 11:00 AM. That's not something you can take for granted. Thank you so much! :) We were given a room on the third floor. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, and the stairwell is simply too narrow to carry suitcases up. Especially for us, as musicians with performance clothes and other tour gear, it was a real pain after an 8-hour drive. We're reasonably fit, but you really work up a sweat up there. It's not suitable for people with mobility issues. The hotel itself is also quite noisy and poorly soundproofed. You're often jolted awake by doors slamming shut, which is certainly due to the limited space. The room door is also more of a thin wooden board with a handle. ... The beds were super comfortable. We slept really well. The bathroom and the room were clean. However, everything is quite dated and looks rather old. The grout in the bathroom is discolored almost black. The TV didn't work. More attention should also be paid to cleanliness, especially in the corners. The hotel is in a fantastic central location right by the bus station, and it's just a stone's throw from the city center. We even found a parking space. In short: We felt comfortable with the staff, but the hotel itself could really use a more modern makeover. Best regards, Janine and Ingo Entprima Live
