Premier Inn Lübeck City Centre Hotel
Visitors frequently praise the hotel's excellent location, close to the train station and city center, and commend the friendly and helpful staff. However, a common complaint is the lack of effective air conditioning, with some rooms being too small and worn out, leading to discomfort, especially during warm weather.

Never again! Far too loud. The hotel is located in a remote area right next to the train tracks, and the windows are clearly not soundproof. Apart from the cleaning staff, the staff isn't particularly friendly or welcoming. I must add that the staff, especially the apparent supervisor, struck me as quite racist through their casual remarks. I then looked at some other reviews, and they confirmed my impression. I would say urgent action is needed.
We booked a room at this hotel. Since we hadn't received a booking confirmation, we called and were assured it wouldn't be a problem; we could pay on arrival. However, when we went to check in, the manager immediately confronted us, telling us as soon as we entered the lobby that we weren't welcome guests. He then told us he couldn't find us in their computer system and therefore couldn't do anything for us. All of this was said in a very arrogant tone. We then asked for his name so we could complain about his behavior. He handed us his business card, almost condescendingly, adding that he was the manager and that all complaints ended up with him anyway. We left and then easily found a very nice room elsewhere.
The hotel is rather hidden away, near the train station. I booked two nights about three weeks before my planned city trip via @booking.com. Since I didn't receive a booking confirmation by email, I called the Premiere Hotel a few days later; they have a central number. The fact that you can't call them directly, like in almost all other hotels I know, is very unsatisfactory. On the phone, I was told that we could check in using my PayPal transaction number. Since I still hadn't received confirmation by email by the day before departure, I called again and was told the same thing as during the last call: that I should show my ID card; then there wouldn't be any problems. When we tried to check in, we had to wait quite a long time. When we finally got there, the hotel manager couldn't find us in the system. He didn't make any effort to investigate or offer us a room. He wasn't interested in my PayPal payment confirmation or the transaction number at all. A highly unfriendly, customer-unfriendly, and seemingly incompetent hotel manager. I still haven't received my money back, over €200. PayPal ruled in favor of the seller. So now I've paid over €200 for not even being offered a seat in the lobby. Extremely poor customer service and disrespectful behavior from the hotel manager.
Stylish rooms and a great location.
We booked this hotel for the close location to harbor, amd for the parking. But when we arrived the lady at the front desk told us that we can not park in the hotel parking because there are no available places. When i ask to speak with the manager, the lady push the panic button and told me that my conduct is not ok and if i do not leave from the reception and asking questions she will call the police. So that is the way to treat your guests!!!! Than she told us that if we want we can parc the car in a near by parking place and pay 7 euro per night. For me is incredible this atitude. Never, ever i will return at this hotel, and is to bad because the rooms where ok.
