When I wanted to book, I checked the price for two nights on Booking.com and, of course, compared it. The previous time, I was told that Tante Alma would naturally offer the same price as on Booking.com, and it worked out. This time, despite asking, I received absolutely no concessions. On top of that, I was given a room facing the front with massive construction noise. I've stayed at this hotel three times now, but the way I was treated was anything but customer-friendly. It's wonderful to make customers happy and see them again. It would be nice if there were an opportunity to teach them some basic human decency. Barbara Elvers

Dear Sir/Madam, We booked a room at your hotel from March 10th to March 13th, 2026. Access to the underground parking garage was only possible after picking up a gate opener from reception. Stopping briefly in front of the hotel to collect this opener proved difficult due to the traffic situation. In the underground parking garage, we noticed that the light above the door leading to the hotel's courtyard was not working. Access is via a relatively narrow staircase, which was barely lit during our stay. Furthermore, at the top of the stairs, there is a solid metal grate at about knee height in the passageway, which we consider a potential safety hazard. At check-in, we were required to provide extensive information and sign several documents. We noticed an unusual odor throughout the hotel. Overall, some of the furnishings appeared visibly worn. In our room, we noticed the following issues, among others: Several patches of mold in the shower Yellowed silicone sealant around the sink Glass bathroom door with visible cleaning residue Heavily soiled TV remote control On the evening of March 12, 2026, when we returned after a workday, there was a notice on our room door stating that the hotel would be temporarily closed due to construction or technical issues. Even before check-in, there was a notice indicating that construction noise might occur starting March 10, 2026. We had to move to another hotel that same evening, which was supposedly about 800 meters away. Our actual distance, according to our measurements, was about 930 meters. Since parking was difficult, we had to walk there with all our luggage. Our car remained in the parking garage, for which we had already paid. Given these circumstances, we would have appreciated some assistance with the transfer, such as a taxi or shuttle. ... Overall, our stay did not meet our expectations. Based on our personal experience, we cannot currently recommend this hotel. Sincerely, Pascal Christian Thiede

A unique hotel, retaining its original charm, but not in a bad way! Comfortable and spacious rooms, a cool and welcoming lobby, a full breakfast, and impeccable service. Honestly, a fantastic stay. Special mention to the hotel's night porter, friendly, funny, and incredibly helpful with his parking space and our van—we'll never forget you!

The room was very nice, the bed very comfortable, but the hallways and carpets in the rooms were a bit dirty. The breakfast was very good and substantial, with a wide variety of options.
