About the event

A partner by your side, that's nice. A cat or a dog, also nice. But that's not a family yet. And then it comes: the desire for your own child, a real family. For gay men, this step is not easy. That's why, together with the Munich Rainbow Families Center, we are founding a new group at Sub. The Regenbogenväter will deal with all topics related to gay parenthood. Whether for interested men or already established families – the group is a place for exchange, a network, and a regular meeting for all questions on the subject. Starting in April, we will meet every first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM at Müllerstraße 14, so the first meeting will be on April 3rd. Together we will clarify questions about adoption at home or abroad, surrogacy, four-person constellations, and much more. We also plan to invite external speakers. The group looks forward to welcoming all men with children or a desire for children who want to come to the founding meeting. We would appreciate a short registration.

About the venue

“If you're an LGBT person visiting as a tourist, it might be worth coming because people speak English. However, it's very much geared towards cisgender gay men. But everyone is very nice 💜 It's a non-profit organization, so drinks are extremely cheap.” — Morgan Klein, Google
“There's no food there, so I can't comment on that aspect. It's a meeting place for queer people.” — Uwe Brisgis, Google
