About this place Café Garbo

Café Garbo sits inside the Cinema arthouse on Warendorfer Straße, a short walk east of the old town, and has long been one of the most reliably queer-friendly meeting points in Münster. By day it is a relaxed café-bistro for coffee, breakfast and lunch before or after a film; in the evening it doubles as the cinema's bar. It hosts a regular Queer Monday and works closely with the Queerstreifen queer film festival, which screens at the Cinema each November, so it functions as a de facto anchor for the small Warendorfer Straße scene rather than as a nightclub. Expect an easygoing, mixed crowd of students, film-goers and locals.

A very charming, atmospheric pub/restaurant for film buffs. Perfect for dining/chatting etc. before or after a movie.

I've always really enjoyed going there; and I hope this is just a one-off; but you definitely used to have a more open, patient, and friendly staff since the change ;( But to be snapped at so personally and rudely, especially to guests, because you yourself just contradicted yourself and didn't want to be reminded of it; turning around with a tired smile and ignoring people...; that wasn't a pleasant feeling at all. I hope next time it's back to normal and that bad moods can be reflected back.
