Unfortunately, our daughter was forgotten in the written reservation, so we were initially only offered a double room. Upon request, we were then offered a different room in the basement with an additional sofa bed. The room smelled musty, but was otherwise reasonably clean and a good size. Overall, we found the entire guesthouse rather neglected, and the decor is a matter of taste. We expected better service as guests. However, the location is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was good. Overall, we wouldn't book here again.

A unique gem in the heart of Potsdam. An absolute insider tip! The rooms are individually decorated and there's so much to admire. If you have a passion for antiques, this is the place for you! The gentlemen's apartment makes you feel like you're in Sanssouci Palace :). Breakfast includes everything you could want, and the hot dishes change regularly, offering a glimpse into the hosts' traditional cuisine. Absolutely delicious!

The reliability of the reservations is unfortunately problematic. As other reviews have already mentioned, a confirmed booking was given to someone else, even though we hadn't cancelled it. We only inquired about a different arrival and departure date by phone, which wasn't possible – that would have been perfectly fine. However, the duration and the reservation itself were never canceled or revoked and should have remained unaffected, as they were never questioned or disputed. Despite the clear fault on the part of the accommodation, they refused to help us find an alternative after we were informed that the reservation had suddenly been given to someone else. There have also been minor issues in the past, such as breakfast not being offered despite our reservation. So far, this has been accepted without question – but overall, it creates an unprofessional impression. It's a shame, especially considering regular guests. Anyone who relies on reliability and planning security should be aware of this. We won't be returning.

A very well-maintained guesthouse with very welcoming service and a delicious breakfast. The rooms are well-furnished and clean. Highly recommended; we would definitely come back.
