Monroe's - Stuttgart
Visitors praise Monroe's for its welcoming, safe, and accepting atmosphere, often described as a "second living room" with good drinks and excellent service. However, some reviewers found it unpleasantly crowded with smoking indoors, and a few experienced poor service, with one person feeling unfairly treated by staff.

It's always very crowded, and people smoke inside even though it's so full. The atmosphere is terrible!
A Swabian service disaster. I couldn't even get a drink at the bar. The staff were self-absorbed and only concerned with themselves. I've never experienced anything like this in Munich in decades. Stuttgart is really unattractive for gay people. Monroe's only reinforces that!
A very queer, very safe atmosphere, the music was good too, I loved it, and the service was excellent, very friendly.
Fun place, queer crowd. Disco upstairs.
Incredibly unpleasant. I asked if they had cider. The bartender didn't know what it was. After I explained that it was apple cider/apple wine, he loudly accused me of being an arrogant snob in front of the laughing bar staff (all older guys) because I didn't want beer. Maybe I don't have a sense of humor, but that's no way to treat strangers/customers.
