Nice hotel in city centre. Great reception staff.

Avoid at all costs. Although it is centrally located, the hotel is currently in maintenance and refurbishing process. Unfortunately this is not highlighed by expedia or by the hotel on their website or through the communication. We were located in a building 2-3 mins away from reception. Our room cards got disabled everyday, so every night we get back to the hotel after a long day with the kids, we are locked, where I then have to leave them and go 5 mins walk back and forth to reactivate the cards. There was no wifi in our initial room, TV was not working. I escalated this to the staff and asked for room change. During the day, its very noisy with heavy machinery almost impossible to try and relax in the middle of the day. Regarding the staff, I gave them poor rating, although to be fair there was one really helpful lady who was apologetic and changed our room for the last night. But there was one particular male staff member who was extremely rude and dismissive when I told him about the above issues saying “ I have no time for this - speak to someone else” which is extremely unacceptable for someone in a hospitality business.

A truly terrifying experience: We had booked a room six months in advance. Upon arriving at reception, there was no room reserved in our name, even though we had received confirmation. After speaking with the receptionist (who was neither friendly nor helpful), she redirected us to a hotel 20 minutes away from our original location, with whom they have a partnership. It was a complete mess; we had to fend for ourselves. Absolutely avoid this place!!!

Currently under construction, entrance only via unmarked back entrance, no breakfast or other food, no kettle with tea/coffee in the room, no television currently available.

The location is super central, but unfortunately the entrance is a bit hard to find due to renovations.
