I can't understand the bad reviews. We paid €36 for one night and were very satisfied; the value for money is unbeatable. The location is perfect, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and unusually large, and it had everything we needed (a large desk, plenty of storage space, a wardrobe, and a huge bathroom). It was relatively quiet. The only downsides were that the room was very warm and the mattress was slightly uneven on one side of the bed.

Unfortunately, we had to leave in the middle of the night. A neighboring club was playing outrageously loud techno music. Despite the fact that there was no air conditioning in the room, we had to close our windows. It was now very hot and still very loud. Since the music was supposed to continue until 5 a.m., we decided to leave the hotel at 2:30 a.m. Although the receptionist was willing to at least refund the breakfast we hadn't had, the manager refused after several emails. Overall, this was my worst hotel experience ever and the first time I've had to leave early!

The hotel rooms were in poor condition; I had to change rooms twice due to significant issues. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it.

I spontaneously went to a concert at the Liederhalle. It was just a few minutes' walk there, I checked into the hotel beforehand without any problems, slept comfortably after the concert, and headed out again in the morning – all for €33 a night. Really great.
