Pfaffensee (Cruising Area)

A really nice trail for a good walk or jog. We've been there several times and always come back. Beautiful scenery, and we even spotted some tortoises again today. Great! :)

Wonders of nature! 😍😍😍

Pfaffensee is the last (or first?) of the three lakes and, in my opinion, the most beautiful. A true gem in nature close to the city, no matter the season or the weather. A photographer's dream with the reflections in the lake and the birds that always perch decoratively on the fallen tree trunks. Perhaps one small criticism: after rain, the paths can get very muddy – the forestry department should really address this. Until that happens, we'll just have to hold off on wearing our best white sneakers!

This beautiful lake was part of our hiking route. We were especially touched by the turtles sunbathing on a log near the shore.

A very nice circular trail of about 5 km around two lakes. You'll see ducks, turtles, and herons. Dog owners pick up after their pets, but some leave the plastic bag containing their waste behind. I didn't find a single trash can along the entire route. So, I ended up taking the bag home with me. It would be nice to have some trash cans. Thank you.

A beautiful lake, well worth a visit for swimming. The water is warm and clean.

It's a very nice place; I've been there many times. It's very busy on weekends when the weather is nice, as it's close to Stuttgart.
