About this place Beaver Collective

Beaver Collective is an all-day queer, lesbian-leaning cafe-bar in Votanikos, just west of Gazi, and one of the few women-centred spaces in the Athens scene. It works as a relaxed cafe with vegan food and natural wine by day, then shifts into quiz nights, disco and community events in the evening. Warm, political and inclusive, it's a welcome counterpoint to the male-dominated club strip and a good first stop for queer women visiting the city.

It's not just a store that's community-friendly. It's a store where the community comes together or organizes. Discussions, quizzes, karaoke and a bunch of activities that help us get to know each other, exchange knowledge and have fun. All this with a very good and kind staff, nice amenities and good prices. We need more places like beaver 🩷
