About this place Elysium Hotel

The Elysium Hotel is the centrepiece of the Mykonos gay hotel landscape — a hillside property set above Mykonos Town with panoramic views over the whitewashed maze of Chora, the sea, and the famous windmills that have become the island's symbol. The hotel has been operating as an explicitly gay-oriented resort for decades and has built a reputation that extends far beyond its rooms: the pool terrace at the Elysium is one of the island's most social daytime gay spaces, accessible to non-residents on a day-pass basis, functioning as a sunbathing, swimming, and socialising environment of exceptional quality from mid-morning onward. The sunset view from the Elysium's elevated position is extraordinary — the town below, the sea stretching to the horizon, the light changing as the afternoon progresses — and watching it from the pool deck with a cocktail in hand is one of those Mykonos experiences that defines the visit in retrospect. Rooms are elegantly Cycladic in their design — white walls, natural materials, the clean lines of the island aesthetic — and the hotel's facilities match its reputation. For same-sex couples and solo gay travellers who want accommodation that specifically caters to the gay community, the Elysium is the natural first choice on the island.

While staying at the Golden Coast, we entered the agency one morning and were welcomed by Adonis, who explained the various excursions to us without pressuring us to buy them. We opted for the afternoon tour of Athens, which includes visits to various sites such as the changing of the guard and the Acropolis, and continues at a restaurant in the heart of the old town where I challenge you to eat everything. We eventually walked back to the bus for those who wished to enjoy Athens at night, with a final stop at the Olympic Stadium. Thank you to Adonis for his kindness and knowledge, as well as to the French-speaking guide at the Acropolis.

Excursion to Athens. Departure 2pm return around 11pm. Great time, everything was perfect from start to finish. If you want to take a nap on the shuttle bus during the transfer from the hotel to Athens like me, impossible. Abandon our guide of the day, put us in breath from the start with anecdotes and stories in a humorous tone that cannot leave indifferent. The rest of the day idem. And finally the evening restaurant in good spirits in a very friendly place. Thank you to the Elysium team and Adonis for their kindness and professionalism.

They organized our trip to India in a perfect way. Including Italian speaking guides, daily drivers, visits to museum sites, hotels, restaurants. Always in telephone contact and immediate service. Top. Samyra real tourist manager.

We stayed at the Golden Coast in Marathon in April and recommend going through Elysium Travel for your excursions. Outings are in small groups, with a very well-honed organization and a friendly atmosphere. A real plus: our guide, exciting, who shared with us many explanations and anecdotes about his beautiful country.

Following my daughter's recommendations, we decided to visit Athens with Elysium Travel. We really enjoyed this excursion. The team that accompanied us throughout the afternoon was very friendly. Pavlos, our guide, has made us discover the history of Greece from ancient Greece to the present day and explained the Mythology with its gods and goddesses. A dinner was included in the tour. The Greek specialties served were very good and very hearty. Ending the day with a night tour of Athens was a very good idea. I highly recommend this agency close to the Golden Coast Hotel. Many thanks to Pavlos, Anthony and Kosta.

After reading the different reviews, ultra positive, we decided to visit Athens with Elysium Travel and we are delighted. Passionate guide, full of humor, who loves his city and history (especially that of France). We had a great day, full of discoveries before ending it with a delicious meal. A quality agency, go without hesitation 😊

Super agency Small group tour 18 max. It changes groups of 60. Guides on top. I recommend this agency which is not more expensive than another but which stands out for the quality of its excursions. Not to mention all the anecdotes told during the journey.

We visited Athens with Pavlos who was a great guide. He took us off the beaten track, answered our questions and always with good humor and enthusiasm. This visit allowed us to discover several emblematic places including the Acropolis with Catherine who was a guide at the top. I recommend this agency because we were in a small group which is appreciable and the Service was great!

We were connected with this company after purchasing a trip through a charity auction. The trip was advertised as including 7 nights in a world class hotel in the center of the city. We were given only 2 hotel options far below expectations ($115/night on Expedia) and over 25 min away from the downtown core. This company was cold, rigid and unaccommodating to any adjustments in dates or hotels. Customer service was cold and unapologetic. After much back and forth, we opted to cancel the trip entirely (and forfeit the cost). It wasn't worth the expense to fly from North America to Europe and pay for all the other travel expenses to stay in a low-end hotel and be frustrated with 2 hours of travel to the downtown area each day. I wouldn't recommend this company.
